Founder Mouna ElHaimoud gave a presentation at Al Ain Media and Marketing Forum on the role of media and social media in helping humanitarian efforts. The session entitled ‘Using Social Media for Charitable Causes and Community Development,’ ElHaimoud gave examples of humanitarian campaigns run by individuals and journalists that went viral. She also spoke about the series of events that drove her to start Toys With Wings and how impactful the initiative has been since its inception.
After her participation at the forum, ElHaimoud was given an honorary award by H.E. Dr. Mubarak Hamad Al Ameri, board member of Abu Dhabi Chamber.
