Moved by the humanitarian crisis in Syria, Australian national Lynn Morris, started a project called ‘Better With a Bear’ to send toys to kids in Sryia. Morris, alongside a group of her friends were able to sew over 560 teddy bears and made 580 illustrated children's books called ‘Jada Jamila’s Dream’, written in English and Arabic. The boxes flew all the way from Adelaide, Australia to Madrid, Spain. With the help of Spanish NGO, AAPS, the boxes were stored in a warehouse and later shipped to Syria, where AAPS made the arrangements to distribute them to the children there.

We would like to thank Lynn Morris, Rick Morris, Cathay Pacific and AAPS for their support and help in this beautiful initiative.
